Getting sunburnt……who doesn’t love having that horrible stinging feeling, looking like you have some type of skin disease and cringing when someone wants to give you a pat on the back? I know I look forward to it every year. HaHa…let’s face it getting sunburnt is horrible, however being SONburnt, now that is a totally different story. We need to be SONburnt no matter what season summer, spring, or even winter, it is what the bible teaches christians to be. So many christians have never been truly SONburnt and it is essential in order to have a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ! Just like being sunburnt, we must be exposed to the Son over a period of time in order for our old selves to “peel” off and a new creation is made. The enemy tries to hold us back from becoming SONburnt, he tries to get us to wear our SPF (Satan Preventing Freedom). He wants us to stay a slave to sin & follow the world. But we must resist him so he will flee from us. I encourage all of you to go out there and bask in God’s grace and love and get completely SONburnt. No SPF needed!
